Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates of this program will be able to:

1. Explain the different rationales for internationalization that may motivate different stakeholders in higher education.
2. Analyze an institution’s internationalization goals and activities in terms of both an institutional strategy and in terms of student learning outcomes.

Admission Requirements

Applications to the Internationalization of Higher Education graduate certificate are not being accepted at this time.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (master's degree preferred)
• Minimum 2.750 GPA on a 4.000-point scale¹
• Official transcript(s)
• Résumé or curriculum vitae
• Goal statement
• Two letters of recommendation
• English language proficiency - all international students must provide proof of English language proficiency (unless they meet specific exceptions to waive) by earning one of the following:²
  • Minimum 79 TOEFL iBT score
  • Minimum 6.5 IELTS score
  • Minimum 58 PTE score
  • Minimum 110 DET score

Post-baccalaureate work will be taken into consideration when interpreting GPA for admission.

International applicants who do not meet the above test scores will not be considered for admission.
