The Division of Human Resources Employee Wellness Team provided kits to departments across �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University’s eight campuses to set up “gratitude graffiti” stops. The stops are designed to give employees an opportunity to reflect and express gratitude through interactive art.

More than 100 kits were requested across all eight �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ campuses plus the New York City Studio. There are more than 80 stops located on the Kent Campus alone.

Miriam Matteson, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, presented “A Conversation on Critical Librarianship and Privilege” at the Ohio Library Council annual conference on Sept. 29, 2016, in Sandusky, Ohio.

The �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University Board of Trustees today approved separate proposals for dining and cold beverage services that will transform the student experience throughout the university system. Following a competitive bid and review process, the Board approved the recommendation of university leaders to begin contract negotiations with Aramark LLC for dining services and with PepsiCo for exclusive cold beverage rights.

James Hannon will become the new dean of �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University’s College of Education, Health and Human Services, effective July 1.

The spring 2017 Bowman Breakfast will take place at �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University in the Kent Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, April 5. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program will follow at 8 a.m.

�鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University students and staff won big at the 2017 American Advertising Federation of Akron’s (AAF-Akron) ADDY Awards ceremony, taking home seven silver awards and one gold.
