Accreditations
Accreditation is the public recognition awarded to colleges, universities and programs that meet established educational standards. Accreditation assures that teaching, student achievement, curricula, academic support and other criteria meet certain levels of excellence and quality.

Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) evaluates academic programs in applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology at the associate, bachelor鈥檚, and master鈥檚 degree levels. Through the accreditation of academic programs, recognition of credentials and assessment of student learning, we support excellence in education worldwide. With ABET quality assurance, students, employers and the communities we serve can be confident that a program or credential meets the standards needed to prepare graduates for a global workforce.

Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE)
Originally founded as the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT) in 1967, The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) was created to support educators, students, and industry professionals in Industrial Technology, a field dedicated to the practical application of engineering principles and technical skills in industrial settings.
ATMAE ensures that accredited programs meet the highest standards of quality and rigor. Accredited programs emphasize hands-on, practical learning, equipping graduates with both technical and managerial expertise. This dual focus prepares students to excel in applied technology, advanced management, and engineering environments, providing them with a well-rounded and industry-relevant education.

Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF)
The Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF) was established in 1947 by the leaders of the industry, with the support of affiliated organizations and societies as an independent extension of metalcasting educational programs at colleges and universities across the country. The primary objective was to bring top-quality men and women into our industry. FEF has since become the key piece to ensure top-level talent enters our Industry.

National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense
The CAE Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation is awarded to regionally accredited academic institutions offering cybersecurity-related degrees including majors, minors, and/or certificates at the Associates, Bachelors and graduate levels. Applicant institution must demonstrate that it engages in significant community involvement, academic activities, and institutional practices in cybersecurity, and that the institution has one or more Program(s) of Study (PoS) under consideration meeting the requirements set forth in this document. The goal of the NCAE-C program is to promote and support quality academic programs of higher learning that help produce the nation鈥檚 cyber workforce.
