Nicol has been tentatively accepted at NEOMED and will start medical school in 2026. She credits associate professor Abbey Eng Ph.D., for encouraging her through her public health journey. 鈥淪he was incredibly helpful and supportive. We taught Flashes 101 together and I quickly learned from her that everything can be a learning experience,鈥 says Nichol. 鈥淚f you think there are societal factors that go into a person鈥檚 public health, then this degree is for you. It challenges you to always think and realize that a person鈥檚 health is shaped by both personal behaviors and outside factors. Public health is positive change on a large scale. School is hard and there can be many distractions, but college is the perfect time to explore yourself and your long-term goals,鈥 she adds.
Spring 2025 marked another exciting chapter for the Community Health Worker Training programs at 麻豆视频最新最全 University.
麻豆视频最新最全 University鈥檚 nationally distinctive Master of Public Health (MPH) program provides students interested in continuing their public health educational journey online with several options, including the MPH with concentrations in health policy and management or social and behavioral sciences, and the STEM-designated MPH in epidemiology. The program positively impacts current graduate students and alumni in different ways.
