May 1970, Student-led Collective Action and the Civil Rights Movement: A KSU Alternative Winter Break Experience

These programs engage students in service, inform them about current social issues and encourage their ongoing involvement in social change. In December, students visited Jackson, Mississippi for a trip, themed May 1970, Student-led Collective Action and the Civil Rights Movement.
