Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« students who park on the northern edge of the Kent Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« Board of Trustees approved the deck’s construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.

Transgender Students Find Home, Security and Support at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ«

For transgender students like Emily Grubb, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« is home.

Grubb and other students have found an inclusive, welcoming environment that offers resources for the transgender community, such as the student organization Trans*Fusion and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center. Transgender students also receive support from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îȫ’s faculty, staff and administrators.
