Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ«, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University has landed on it. Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.
Record Five Golden Flashes to Compete at Tokyo Olympics
Five Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the school’s previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.

Update: The Global Vaccine Poem project is finding success with more than 1,900 submissions so far from more than 100 countries. The project is a collaboration between the Wick Poetry Center and the University of Arizona Poetry Center.
