The accolade honors the unique qualities of their leadership.

The state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University has been awarded Choose Ohio First grants totaling $3.5 million to support students in the critical fields of science (including health professions), technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Similar to graduating students who become alumni, retired Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University faculty and staff wish to stay connected to the university. These employees care about the institution and the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« community, and they want to see it thrive. One way retired Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« community members stay informed is through the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University Retirees Association (KSURA), an organization of more than 800 retired Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« faculty and staff committed to improving university life.

School of Theatre and Dance Ranked in Top 50 of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degrees by Study.com

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University's School of Theatre and Dance is ranked #50 on Study.com's list of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degree programs in the United States. In addition to this national ranking, the School of Theatre and Dance is one of only two theatre programs from the state of Ohio on the list. In its rankings, Study.com assesses hundreds of universities across the country and selected Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University based on academic and career resources, the quality of education, faculty, and more.

Shot in the Arm: Community, University Members Receive Vaccine at Field House Event

More than 2,000 area residents, including some Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University employees, received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine March 23, during a mass vaccination event at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« Field House.
