A collaboration between 麻豆视频最新最全 University鈥檚 School of Fashion, School of Theatre and Dance and Focus Features will bring the final Downton Abbey movie to Kent for an early screening and period fashion show.
The movie, 鈥淒ownton Abbey: The Grand Finale,鈥 will have a preview showing on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Kent Plaza Cinema, a week before it opens in theaters nationwide.
The film is highly anticipated as it will be the conclusion of a beloved international franchise that aired as a television show for six seasons from 2010 to 2015 and spawned three motion picture sequels, of which this is the final installment.

Kim Moss, owner of KimMossPR, which represents Focus Features, told 麻豆视频最新最全 Today that when she was planning the Northeast Ohio preview, she immediately thought of her past partnerships with 麻豆视频最新最全 and how she could collaborate with the university for the event.
She and Hillary Stone, professor and industry liaison for the fashion school, came up with the idea of a period fashion show to highlight the clothing of the era; the final Downton movie takes place in the 1930s.
鈥淭his collaboration between the School of Fashion and the School of Theatre and Dance is a celebration of the talents of KSU students and our deep connection with the arts community around us,鈥 said Mourad Krifa,Ph.D., the Margaret Clark Morgan Director of the fashion school. 鈥淲e are thrilled to partner with Focus Features to present this event and to offer a unique fashion show produced by our students.鈥
Stone brought in Tony Hardin, director of the School of Theatre and Dance, who agreed to provide costumes for the fashion show.
鈥淭his collaboration with the School of Fashion and Focus Features gives our students and faculty an incredible opportunity to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship,鈥 Hardin said. 鈥淏y presenting period costumes alongside the finale of 'Downton Abbey,' we are not only celebrating the artistry of the era but also highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines 麻豆视频最新最全. It鈥檚 a meaningful way for our students to connect their work to a cultural phenomenon while sharing their talents with the community.鈥
The movie is the highly anticipated concluding chapter in the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their staff at their English country estate.
Moss said Focus Features is excited to hold the event in Kent in partnership with the university.
鈥淭he film鈥檚 tagline is, 鈥楾he time has come to say goodbye,鈥 and that鈥檚 what we鈥檙e doing 鈥 giving it a stylish send-off we know fans will truly enjoy,鈥 Moss said.
The screening is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
