The two-day event, which took place at the 麻豆视频最新最全 University Hotel & Conference Center, highlighted the research of 麻豆视频最新最全 faculty and students.
Michael Lehman, Ph.D., director of the Brain Health Research Institute, told 麻豆视频最新最全 Today the event has become a vehicle for showcasing the high-level research ongoing at 麻豆视频最新最全.
Keynote speaker for the event was John Gunstad, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, whose talk, 鈥淭he 麻豆视频最新最全 Student Life Study: The Start of a Brand-New U,鈥 focused on the university鈥檚 ongoing student life study, now in its third year.
Among the presenters was Aleisha Moore, Ph.D., assistant professor of biological sciences and the institute's assistant director of neuroimaging collaboratory, who spoke on the topic, 鈥淭he role of the brain in polycystic ovary syndrome.鈥
Many attended the student research poster session, which included work from undergraduate and graduate students.
Lehman said the symposium is designed to give students the maximum opportunities to put their research on display and to gain valuable feedback and recognition from faculty and other professionals attending.
