University Housing is proud to announce a major step forward in its commitment to sustainability. In 2025, Tom Dietrich, Assistant Director of Residential Facilities, secured a $10,000 grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to support the installation of additional bottle filling stations across residence halls.Each station can save up to 15,000 plastic bottles annually—equivalent to more than 300 pounds of waste diverted from landfills—while also promoting student health and wellness.
