Staying up late and braving the chilly overnight temperatures, Michael Gershe, senior advisor II in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ«'s College of Aeronautics and Engineering took photos of the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse that occurred from about 1 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. on March 14. The Rolling Scones Bakery and Café is a treat you don’t want to miss! Located in the University Plaza off Cherry Street in Kent, this bakery is family owned and operated and has been in business for nearly a year. The owners have their sights set on more than bringing our community delicious baked goods: they plan to become a certified training space for people with different abilities throughout Portage and Summit counties. They also offer a 10% discount to students, faculty and staff on any grab-and-go item.

Attend a free lecture series June 6-12 as part of the School of Art’s Annual Kent Blossom Art Intensives(KBAI) Program. Every year, visiting artists give public presentations on their work. All artist lectures are free and open to the public. Lectures are hosted by world-renowned guest artists in ceramics, painting, textiles and glass.
